Ladies and Gentlemen.

Good morning and a very warm welcome to the official launch of Lonpac E-Assist. On behalf of Lonpac Insurance Bhd, I would like to thank Yang Berhormat Dato' Chan Kong Choy, for graciously accepting our invitation to officiate this launching ceremony.

This official launch is a delightful event to be associated with, because Lonpac E-Assist avails value added service to motor insurance policy holders of Lonpac Insurance Bhd.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

At Lonpac, we believe that there is only one way of earning confidence and trust of our policy holders. The only way is demonstration of reliability, integrity and professionalism in all our dealings, including our customer care programmes and service improvement initiatives.

Drawn from Lonpac's empathy for motor policy holders' need for urgent assistance, at a time when they needed it most, Lonpac E-Assist was conceived. Lonpac E-Assist is aimed at eliminating the hardship of our motor policy holders in the event of emergency.

Lonpac's motor policy holders who renew their motor insurance with Lonpac will enjoy FREE membership of Lonpac E-Assist. This is a reward of cost savings to our policy holders as they do not have to subscribe to similar services available in the market. This is our way of showing appreciation to our motor policy holders, for their continued confidence and trust in us.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

The Lonpac E-Assist is operated via an outsourced 24-hour call centre, supported by an extensive network of over 400 tow truck operators throughout the country. It is a facility just one telephone call away, at any time round-the-clock.

As a caring insurer, Lonpac continuously strives to provide excellent service to its policy holders, including settling claims promptly. The Lonpac E-Assist facility for motor policy holders, provides minor roadside repairs and/or emergency towing free-of-charge for up to 300 km. It shows that Lonpac, as a caring insurer, deems it equally important to render prompt assistance to motor policy holders during an emergency.

Lonpac E-Assist was well-received during its short one-month pilot period. Lonpac has therefore decided to continue availing Lonpac E-Assist free-of-charge to all new and renewed motor policy holders henceforth.

Lonpac E-Assist gives special added value because its emergency assistance is not confined to incidents of road accidents. It is also extended to exigencies such as sudden break-down of the insured motor vehicle.

The launch of Lonpac E-Assist is therefore a reaffirmation of Lonpac's commitment to continuous improvement in service to its policy holders. It is Lonpac's endeavour to continue being a trusted insurer which provides high intrinsic value of service to its policy holders.
