LONPAC E-ASSIST
YOUR ROUND-THE-CLOCK ROAD EMERGENCY CAR ASSISTANCE PROGRAMME

From 1 October 2001onwards, all new and renew policy holders of Lonpac's comprehensive private car insurance will be given complimentary memberships of Lonpac E-Assist. Lonpac E-Assist is a 24-hour emergency car assistance programme which provides minor roadside repairs and emergency towing services. Membership is exclusively for Lonpac's comprehensive private car insurance policy holders.

24-hour Minor Roadside Repairs and Emergency Towing Services
If your car is immobilised due to a breakdown, the mechanic sent to you will try to repair your car on the spot for FREE. Minor roadside repairs are repairs that can be carried out at the breakdown spot.

In the event it is not possible to repair your car on the spot, Lonpac E-Assist will provide you with FREE towing of your car up to 300km (round trip). If towing is due to car breakdown, where you want your car to be towed is entirely up to you, either to your own preferred workshop or back to your home. However if it is due to an accident, Lonpac E-Assist will tow your car to an authorised workshop.

Charges will be only be applicable for journey exceeding the 300km limit and all cost incurred in the workshop, including replacement of car spare parts and service charges, will be borne by members.
