The LPI Group’s investor relations activities serve as an important communication channel with the shareholders, investors and the investment community.

The Group’s investor relations function are undertaken by the Management personnel of very senior levels to provide appropriate and substantive views and information on the Group to investors and equity research analysts. Investor Relations activities such as meetings with fund managers and analysts and interviews by the press are attended by the following Directors to explain the Group’s strategy, performance and major developments:

Mr. Tan Kok Guan was appointed to the Board of LPI Capital Bhd (LPI) on 29 October 1996. He is the Chief Executive Officer of LPI Capital Bhd (LPI) with effect from 8 July 2013.  He was previously the Chief Executive Officer of LPI's wholly-owned subsidiary, Lonpac Insurance Bhd (Lonpac) before being appointed to the position as Chief Executive Officer of LPI.

Mr. Tan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Hons.) from the University of London, United Kingdom and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Hawaii.

He is also a Chartered Insurer of the Chartered Insurance Institute in London and an Associate of the Malaysian Insurance Institute in Kuala Lumpur.

He has been re-designated as Non-Executive Director and appointed as Advisor of Lonpac upon his retirement as CEO of Lonpac. 

 

 

Looi Kong Meng

Mr. Looi Kong Meng is the Chief Executive Officer of Lonpac with effect from 8 July 2013. He was previously the Chief Operating Officer of Lonpac before being appointed to the position as Chief Executive Officer of Lonpac.

Mr. Looi is a Chartered Insurer and an Associate member of the Chartered Insurance Institute in London and the Malaysian Insurance Institute in Kuala Lumpur.
